I’ve popped a pimple, and now there’s a hole left behind. What are these holes?

The holes left behind after popping a pimple are often referred to as “pitted scarring” or “ice pick scars.” These are depressed scars that result from the skin’s natural healing process after the trauma of picking or popping a pimple.
