Those sand-like particles coming out of your skin could possibly be keratin or sebum plugs. Keratin is a protein that can sometimes form small, hard particles when it accumulates on the skin’s surface. Sebum plugs are a combination of oil and dead skin cells that can clog pores and eventually emerge from the skin. It’s important to keep your skin clean and exfoliated to prevent the build-up of these particles. If you have concerns about your skin health, it may be best to consult with a dermatologist for a proper evaluation and treatment recommendations.
