I’m curious about what’s inside blackheads. What comes out of blackheads when you pop them?

When you pop a blackhead, the material that comes out is a combination of dead skin cells, oil (sebum), and bacteria. The black appearance of a blackhead is due to the oxidation of the oil and skin cells when they are exposed to air. It’s important to note that squeezing or popping blackheads can lead to irritation, infection, and scarring, so it’s generally not recommended to do so. Regular exfoliation and proper skincare can help prevent blackheads from forming.
