I’m curious about what’s inside pimples. What does the core of a pimple look like?

The core of a pimple, also known as a comedo, can vary in appearance depending on the type of pimple. In general, a pimple may contain pus, sebum (oil), dead skin cells, and bacteria. When a pimple is ready to be extracted, it may have a white or yellowish center, which is a mix of dead white blood cells and bacteria. It’s important to avoid squeezing or popping pimples to prevent scarring or further infection.
