I’ve got some blackhead holes on my face, and I’m worried that they will fill back up. Is this a common occurrence?

Yes, it is common for blackheads to fill back up after they have been removed. Blackheads form when hair follicles become clogged with oil and dead skin cells. Even after removing them, the pores can become clogged again if proper skin care is not maintained.
