I’m curious about the process of a pimple healing. What are the final stages of a pimple?

During the final stages of a pimple healing, the inflammation reduces, and the pimple gradually flattens out as the pus or fluid inside is reabsorbed by the body or expelled. The skin begins to repair itself, and new skin cells are generated to replace the damaged ones. Eventually, the pimple fades away, leaving behind some post-inflammatory pigmentation or a temporary mark that will typically fade over time. It’s important not to pick or squeeze the pimple during this stage to prevent scarring and prolong the healing process.
