Those little white seeds that come out of pimples are known as sebum plugs or comedones. They are a mixture of oil (sebum) and dead skin cells that have accumulated in the hair follicle. When they are exposed to the air and oxidize, they can turn white. This is a common occurrence in acne-prone skin.
