I’m curious about what’s inside blackheads. What comes out of a blackhead when you pop it?

When you pop a blackhead, the contents typically consist of oxidized melanin (a pigment produced by skin cells), dead skin cells, and sebum (oil) trapped within the pore. The black appearance is due to the melanin being exposed to air and oxidizing, not dirt as commonly thought.
