I’m curious about what’s inside blackheads. What comes out of a blackhead when you squeeze it?

When you squeeze a blackhead, the primary substance that comes out is a mixture of dead skin cells, excess sebum (oil produced by your skin glands), and sometimes bacteria. The dark appearance of a blackhead is due to the oxidation of the material inside, not because of dirt as commonly believed. It’s not advisable to squeeze blackheads yourself, as it can lead to skin irritation, inflammation, and potentially scarring.
