I’ve been struggling with acne, and I’m wondering if it’s related to hormones. What does hormonal acne look like on the face?

Hormonal acne typically appears as deep, painful cysts or nodules along the jawline, chin, and lower cheeks. It can also manifest as smaller pimples or whiteheads in the same area. Hormonal acne outbreaks often coincide with menstrual cycles in women and can be more persistent than other types of acne.
